Article 2 — Definitions
The terms defined below have the following meaning in these Terms of Use, whether used in the singular or plural:
Platform: refers to all services accessible via the Hello Mira mobile application (hereinafter « Mira Nomad »), the hello-mira.com website, and any related application, in particular Mira Chat.
User: refers to any natural person registered on the Platform, regardless of their role (Nomad, Amigo, Mentor).
Nomad: refers to a User who uses the Platform to plan, book and/or undertake slow travel trips.
Amigo: refers to a local User who offers cultural immersion and hosting experiences to Nomads in their city or country of residence. Amigo status is subject to specific conditions supplementary to these Terms of Use.
Mentor: refers to a User who offers coaching programmes (Mira Class) to Nomads. Mentor status is subject to specific conditions supplementary to these Terms of Use.
Mira Nomad: refers to the Platform's main mobile application.
Mira Chat: refers to the integrated messaging application, enabling conversations with other Users, Mira Agents and within Tribes.
Mira Brain: refers to Hello Mira's proprietary artificial intelligence engine, powered by Mira Knowledge.
Mira Knowledge: refers to Hello Mira's proprietary knowledge base, fed by verified field data.
Mira Tribe: refers to the community of Nomads accessible to holders of an active Mira Pass.
Mira Pass: refers to the annual subscription giving access to the Platform's premium services. The conditions for subscribing to and using the Mira Pass are detailed in the General Terms of Sale — Mira Pass.
Mira Trip: refers to an all-inclusive slow travel trip organised by Hello Mira Travel France. The conditions for booking and executing Mira Trips are detailed in the General Terms of Sale — Mira Trips.
Mira Class: refers to a coaching and mentoring programme offered by a Mentor, available as an option during a Mira Trip.
Mira Amigo: refers to a local immersion experience offered by an Amigo.
Mira Tribe(s): refers to the thematic or geographical community channels accessible via Mira Chat.
Wallet: refers to the interface for consulting the User's funds, reflecting the balances held by the payment service provider (Stripe). Hello Mira is at no time the custodian of the User's funds.
User Content: refers to any content (text, image, review, comment) published by a User on the Platform.
Mira Agent: refers to a specialised conversational agent, powered by artificial intelligence, identified as such on the Platform. Mira Agents cover fields such as visas, health, culture, taxation, housing and security.
Specific Conditions: refers to the supplementary conditions applicable to Amigos and Mentors, which are additional to these Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict, the Specific Conditions prevail.
Article 3 — Purpose
These General Terms of Use are intended to define the conditions for accessing and using the Hello Mira Platform.
They apply to all Users of the Platform, regardless of their role (Nomad, Amigo, Mentor).
These Terms of Use do not govern the sale of paid services (Mira Pass, Mira Trips, Mira Class), which is subject to separate General Terms of Sale.
The Terms of Use are supplemented, where applicable, by:
- the General Terms of Sale — Mira Pass, applicable to the subscription to the Mira Pass;
- the General Terms of Sale — Mira Trips, applicable to the booking and execution of Mira Trips;
- the Specific Conditions for Amigos, applicable to Users with Amigo status;
- the Specific Conditions for Mentors, applicable to Users with Mentor status;
- the Privacy Policy, detailing the processing of personal data;
- the AI Policy, detailing the use of artificial intelligence on the Platform.
All of these documents form an indissociable whole. In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Use and a specific document, the specific document prevails within its scope of application.
Article 4 — Acceptance of the Terms of Use
Accessing the Platform and creating an account imply full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use.
The User acknowledges having read the Terms of Use before creating their account and accepts them by ticking the box provided for this purpose during registration.
If the User does not accept the Terms of Use, they cannot create an account or access the Platform's services.
Article 5 — Access Conditions and Registration
5.1 Eligibility Conditions
Registration on the Platform is reserved for natural persons meeting the following conditions:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- have the legal capacity to enter into contracts;
- not have been permanently excluded from the Platform.
The Platform is not intended for minors. Children accompanying a User on a Mira Trip do not have User status and do not have an account on the Platform.
5.2 Account Creation
Registration requires the provision of the following information:
- first and last name;
- valid email address;
- valid mobile phone number;
- password;
- date of birth;
- nationality.
The User undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Any modification of this information must be made as soon as possible via the account settings.
The User's email address is verified during registration.
5.3 Single and Personal Account
Each User may only hold one account on the Platform. The account is strictly personal and may not be transferred or shared.
The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any use of the account made using their credentials is deemed to have been performed by the User themselves.
In the event of suspected unauthorised use of their account, the User must inform Hello Mira immediately at [[email protected]].
5.4 Cumulation of Roles
The same User may hold multiple roles on the Platform (Nomad, Amigo, Mentor), subject to meeting the conditions specific to each role and accepting the applicable Specific Conditions.
Article 6 — Description of Services
6.1 Services Accessible Without a Mira Pass (Free Services)
All registered Users may access the following services:
- consultation of the Mira Trips destination catalogue;
- pricing estimate (public simulator);
- consultation of their Wallet.
6.2 Services Accessible With a Mira Pass (Premium Services)
Users holding an active Mira Pass additionally benefit from:
- access to Mira Chat: conversations with Mira Agents (agents specialised by country and theme), private messaging and Tribes;
- access to Mira Tribe (community of Nomads);
- access to Mira Brain (advanced travel planning AI);
- eligibility to book Mira Trips;
- access to partner benefits.
The conditions for subscribing to and using the Mira Pass are detailed in the General Terms of Sale — Mira Pass.
6.3 Mira Class
Mira Class programmes are coaching and mentoring services offered by independent Mentors, accessible as an option during a Mira Trip. Mira Class does not constitute professional training within the meaning of the Labour Code.
Mentors act as independent service providers. Hello Mira (CES Venture) acts as a platform for bringing parties together and for commercialisation, without any subordinate relationship with the Mentors.
Article 7 — Mira Chat — Rules of Use
7.1 Conversations with Mira Agents
Mira Agents are conversational agents powered by artificial intelligence. They are clearly identified as such in the Mira Chat interface, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act).
The User is informed that:
- the responses of Mira Agents are generated by artificial intelligence systems and may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information;
- the responses of Mira Agents do not in any way constitute professional advice (legal, medical, tax, financial);
- the User is encouraged to verify critical information with official sources;
- Mira Brain is powered by Mira Knowledge (proprietary knowledge base) but does not guarantee the completeness or absolute currency of the information.
The User may report any inappropriate or inaccurate response via the reporting mechanism integrated into the interface.
7.2 Mira Tribes (Community Channels)
Mira Tribes are community discussion spaces. The User undertakes to comply with the following rules:
- adopt respectful behaviour towards other Users;
- not publish any illegal, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or harassing content;
- not disseminate spam, unauthorised advertising or promotional content without prior agreement from Hello Mira;
- not publish content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties;
- not impersonate another User or a third party;
- not disseminate personal data of third parties without their consent.
7.3 Private Messaging
The rules of conduct applicable to Mira Tribes also apply to private messages exchanged between Users.
The following are prohibited in particular: harassment, sending of inappropriate content, spam and any attempt at unauthorised commercial solicitation.
The User may block any other User from the Mira Chat interface.
7.4 Moderation
The Platform uses a moderation system combining:
- automated detection by artificial intelligence;
- human moderation by the Hello Mira team;
- community reporting by Users.
The User is informed that their messages in Mira Tribes and conversations may be subject to automated analysis for moderation and security purposes. Details of this processing are specified in the AI Policy and the Privacy Policy.
The automated moderation system may lead to a temporary suspension as a precautionary measure in the event of content clearly contrary to the Platform's rules, particularly in the event of a risk to the safety of Users. The User is notified immediately and may contest this decision via the customer support service. Any permanent exclusion is subject to a human decision.
Article 8 — User Content
8.1 Ownership
The User retains ownership of the content they publish on the Platform (texts, photos, reviews, comments).
8.2 Licence Granted to Hello Mira
By publishing content on the Platform, the User grants Hello Mira a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable and royalty-free licence, for the duration of intellectual property rights, authorising Hello Mira to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, distribute and display this content, for the purposes of:
- operating and improving the Platform;
- promoting and communicating Hello Mira, including on social media and marketing materials.
8.3 Right to Object to Marketing Use
The User may at any time object to the use of their content for marketing purposes from their account settings (opt-out option). This objection takes effect within a reasonable period and does not apply to content already published by Hello Mira at the time of the objection, unless an express request for removal is made.
8.4 User's Liability
The User is solely responsible for the content they publish on the Platform. They indemnify Hello Mira against any third-party claims related to their content.
8.5 Right to Moderate
Hello Mira reserves the right to delete or make inaccessible any content contrary to these Terms of Use, applicable laws or the rights of third parties, without prior notice or compensation.
8.6 Fate of Content After Account Deletion
In the event of the deletion of the User's account, the content they have published on the Platform is anonymised (the link between the content and the User's identity is deleted). Anonymised content may remain visible on the Platform.
Article 9 — Intellectual Property
9.1 Hello Mira's Property
The Platform, its design, architecture, logos, the brand « Hello Mira » and the associated « Mira » sub-brands (Mira Brain, Mira Chat, Mira Tribe, Mira Trip, Mira Pass, Mira Class, Mira Nomad, Mira Knowledge, Mira Amigo), the software, algorithms, databases (in particular Mira Knowledge), texts, images, videos and any other element composing the Platform are the exclusive property of CES Venture SAS or its licensors.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, extraction or reuse of all or part of these elements, by any means whatsoever, without prior written authorisation from Hello Mira, is prohibited and constitutes an act of infringement sanctioned by the Intellectual Property Code.
9.2 Right of Use
Registration on the Platform grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform, for the duration of their registration and within the framework of their personal use.
Article 10 — Wallet
10.1 Nature of the Wallet
The Wallet is a consultation interface that reflects the funds held by the payment service provider Stripe on behalf of the User. Hello Mira is at no time the custodian of the User's funds.
The Wallet may display different categories of funds:
- funds provisioned for a Mira Trip (held in escrow on a Stripe Connect account in the User's name);
- refunds credited by Hello Mira;
- promotional credits (referral, special offers).
10.2 Promotional Credits (Referral)
Promotional credits obtained through the referral programme or special offers:
- are denominated in euros;
- are exclusively usable for payment of Hello Mira services (Mira Pass, Mira Trips);
- are not convertible into cash and cannot be subject to a bank withdrawal;
- are not transferable to another User;
- are valid for 12 months from their date of attribution. After this period, unused credits are forfeited.
10.3 Withdrawal of Funds
The User may request the withdrawal of funds available on their Wallet (excluding promotional credits and funds associated with an ongoing booking) by bank transfer. The processing time for the withdrawal is a maximum of 60 days from the request.
The withdrawal of funds associated with an ongoing booking constitutes a cancellation of said booking and entails the application of the penalty schedule provided in the General Terms of Sale — Mira Trips.
10.4 Fate of the Wallet in the Event of Account Closure
In the event of account closure (at the initiative of the User or Hello Mira), the funds available on the Wallet are returned to the User by bank transfer within 60 days, after deduction of any closure fees, cancellation penalties and amounts owed to Hello Mira. Promotional credits are forfeited.
10.5 Payment Service Provider — Stripe
Payment and fund escrow services are provided by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), an authorised electronic money institution. Use of the Platform's payment services implies acceptance by the User of Stripe's terms of use, accessible at https://stripe.com/en/legal.
In the context of fund provisioning for Mira Trips, a Stripe Connect account is opened in the User's name. Opening this account may require acceptance of the specific conditions of Stripe relating to connected accounts (Stripe Connected Account Agreement).
Hello Mira is not responsible for malfunctions, interruptions or modifications of Stripe's services. In the event of a dispute relating to payment services, the User may contact Stripe directly or Hello Mira's customer service, which will facilitate resolution.
Article 11 — Liability
11.1 Best Efforts Obligation
Hello Mira undertakes to provide the Platform diligently and in accordance with best practices. Hello Mira is subject to a best efforts obligation and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the absence of bugs or the absence of errors on the Platform.
11.2 Interruptions and Maintenance
Hello Mira reserves the right to temporarily interrupt access to all or part of the Platform for maintenance, update or improvement operations. Hello Mira will endeavour to inform Users in advance where possible.
In the event of prolonged unavailability of the Platform, Hello Mira will inform Users by any appropriate means (in-app notification, email).
11.3 User Content
Hello Mira is not responsible for content published by Users on the Platform. Hello Mira acts as a hosting provider within the meaning of Article 6-I-2 of the Law on Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and promptly removes any unlawful content of which it becomes aware.
11.4 Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content
Responses and recommendations provided by Mira Agents and Mira Brain are automatically generated by artificial intelligence systems. Hello Mira does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of this content.
Hello Mira's liability may not be engaged in respect of a decision made by the User on the basis of information provided by a Mira Agent or Mira Brain, particularly in matters of visas, health, taxation or local regulations.
11.5 Third-Party Services and Sites
The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or services. Hello Mira exercises no control over these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, availability or personal data practices.
11.6 Force Majeure
Hello Mira shall not be held responsible for the non-performance or delay in the performance of its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the Civil Code, including: natural disasters, pandemics, war, acts of terrorism, strikes, widespread technical failures, interruption of telecommunications networks, administrative or judicial decisions.
11.7 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hello Mira's total liability under these Terms of Use, for all causes combined, is limited to the amounts actually paid by the User to Hello Mira during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the damage.
This limitation does not apply in the event of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by Hello Mira, nor to personal injury.
Article 12 — Sanctions and Account Moderation
12.1 Scale of Sanctions
In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, Hello Mira may take the following measures, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach:
- Warning: notification to the User of the breach identified.
- 7-day temporary suspension: restriction of access to all or part of the Platform's features.
- 30-day temporary suspension: extended restriction of access.
- Permanent exclusion: closure of the account and prohibition on re-registration.
- any behaviour endangering the physical safety of other Users, in particular during physical meetings (Mira Amigos, Mira Trips, Mira Class);
- using a third party's Mira Pass or lending their own Mira Pass to a third party;
- providing false identity information;
- any fraudulent or illegal activity;
- serious or repeated harassment of other Users.
- the Mira Pass is not refunded;
- the provisioned funds on the Wallet (excluding promotional credits) are returned to the User by bank transfer within 60 days, after deduction of account closure fees and any applicable cancellation penalties for ongoing bookings;
- promotional credits are forfeited;
- ongoing bookings are cancelled and subject to the penalty schedule provided in the General Terms of Sale — Mira Trips.
- loss of access to all Platform services;
- cancellation of the Mira Pass without refund (unless the right of withdrawal is applicable);
- cancellation of ongoing bookings, subject to the applicable penalty schedule;
- return of funds available on the Wallet in accordance with Article 10.4;
- anonymisation of User Content in accordance with Article 8.6;
- processing of personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- breach of these Terms of Use (in accordance with the scale of sanctions provided in Article 12);
- prolonged account inactivity (more than 36 months without login), after prior notification of 30 days;
- cessation of the Platform's activities.

12.2 Immediate Exclusion
In the event of serious misconduct, Hello Mira reserves the right to proceed with the immediate exclusion of the User, without prior warning. The following constitute serious misconduct in particular:

12.4 Appeal
The User may appeal a sanction decision by contacting Hello Mira's support service at [[email protected]]. Hello Mira undertakes to examine the appeal within 30 days and to notify the User of its decision.
Article 13 — Amendment of the Terms of Use
Hello Mira reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time.
In the event of a substantial amendment, Users will be informed by email and/or in-app notification at least 30 days before the new Terms of Use come into force.
A User who does not accept the new Terms of Use may delete their account before they come into force. Continued use of the Platform after the new Terms of Use come into force constitutes acceptance.
Article 14 — Termination
14.1 Termination by the User
The User may delete their account at any time from the account settings or by sending a request to [[email protected]].

Article 15 — Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Applicable Law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 593/2008 (Rome I), Users residing in a Member State of the European Union benefit from the mandatory provisions of the legislation of their country of residence, where these are more protective.
15.2 Mediation
In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute not resolved by Hello Mira's customer service, the User may have recourse free of charge to the following mediation service:

15.3 Jurisdiction
In the absence of an amicable resolution or mediation, any dispute relating to these Terms of Use shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lille, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence in accordance with mandatory rules of jurisdiction.
Article 16 — Miscellaneous Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, supplemented by the documents referenced therein, constitute the entire agreement between the User and Hello Mira relating to the use of the Platform.
16.2 Partial Invalidity
If any clause of these Terms of Use is declared null and void or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining clauses shall remain in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Hello Mira's failure to exercise a right provided for in these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
16.4 Languages
These Terms of Use are available in French, English and Spanish. In the event of a discrepancy between the language versions, the French version shall prevail.
