Nomad Portraits
Portraits of entrepreneurs and nomadic workers: real journeys, income, organization and challenges of van life or living abroad.

Becoming a digital nomad is a risky bet, but so rewarding. But who are these women and men who decide, sometimes overnight, to take the leap? We tell you here some of their stories, incredible... but true!
Behind each digital nomad, there is a journey like no other. A turning point, often a trip that triggered everything. Detours, difficult months, mistakes that are rarely talked about.
And, little by little, an organization that builds itself as you go. In this section, we give a voice to those who work while traveling. Freelancers and entrepreneurs, but also remote employees, creators and consultants. Some live in vans or motorhomes, others settle for several months in a city before moving on.
Copywriting, motion design, development, coaching, web writing, journalism: the professions change, the questions remain. How do you find your first clients when you start from abroad? How do you handle an empty month and smooth out irregular income? How do you maintain a work rhythm when the scenery changes every three weeks, manage time zone differences with your clients, or break entrepreneurial loneliness when no one around you understands your deadlines?
And the topics we talk about less: legal status, taxation depending on countries, safety for women traveling alone, couple life and romantic life on the road, the real budget of a month of nomadism.
Each portrait tells a unique story, with its figures, methods and sacrifices. We talk as much about successes as failed launches, partnerships that end badly and periods of doubt. Because nomadism is not a vacation break: it's a lifestyle that requires work, structure and financing. Whether you've been on the road for ten years or are just thinking about it, these stories offer something that guides don't: the experience of someone who has been through it, and who is willing to say what it really costs.
