Before you travel, you check the weather, visas and cost of living. Risks, however, are often scattered across official advisories, local press and traveler groups. Mira Safe brings them together in one place.
Mira Safe is now available at safe.hello-mira.com and from the menu of all Hello Mira sites. The service continuously tracks natural and security risks around the world and puts them in context, country by country.
A map of current alerts
The homepage displays a world map of active alerts, updated live: earthquakes, fires, volcanoes, epidemics or local tensions. Each alert shows its severity, the area concerned and the source of the information.
A profile for each country
Each country has its own profile, with an overall level — calm, moderate, high or critical — along with what official government advisories recommend, current alerts and recent history. The aim is not to alarm, but to offer a fair reading: an isolated event does not turn an entire country into a place to avoid.
Information you can verify
Mira Safe relies on official sources and on media monitoring, and its methodology is public. Signals from the press are cross-checked before being presented as alerts.
And if you have a question about your own situation, the “Ask Mira Safe” button opens the conversation in Mira Chat.
